Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released publicly information regarding deputies arrested a man for attempted kidnapping and burglary that occurred on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 6:37 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a reported person attempting to enter the office at the incident location. Upon arrival, it was determined Willie Bell forcibly entered an office, threatened the victim and attempted to pull her out of a room. Deputies located Bell in another room and placed him under arrest.
Bell was transported to the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto where he was booked for PC 664/207 – Attempt Kidnapping and PC 459 – Burglary with bail set at $250,000.
