Needles, CA: Set Free Church of Needles selling “Safe and Sane” fireworks for Independence Day 2020 tonight.

Needles, California: Set Free Church of Needles is selling “Safe and Sane” fireworks for Independence Day on Saturday, July 4th, 2020.

The “Safe and Sane” fireworks are being sold at the booth on the corner of Needles Highway and North K Street.

All proceeds go towards Set Free Church of Needles, who will donate portions of the proceeds to Needles Unified School District music and sports programs.

They will be open until 10:00 p.m. PT tonight, unless get sold out.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, “Safe and Sane” fireworks are allowed in the City of Needles.

The “Safe and Sane” fireworks must be handle responsibly, set off away from vegetation and structures that can catch fire and keeping people especially children away after the “Safe and Sane” fireworks have been lit.

Remember, if it’s an emergency, call 911, and make sure to tell the dispatcher where your calling from and what is the emergency; please make sure to be calm and provide the needed important information such as exact address, how many people are hurt if any, if other homes are near by if there’s a fire; and remember to listen to the instructions provided by the dispatcher.
