Lone Pine, California: The United States Geological Survey has confirmed that a magnitude 5.8 earthquake has occurred Wednesday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 10:45 a.m. PT approximately 17km south southeast of Lone Pine, California.
The earthquake was felt around southern California and Nevada, including reports in Needles, California; Mohave Valley, Arizona; and Las Vegas, Nevada.
At this moment, no damage due to the earthquake was reported.
