Tonopah, Nevada: A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has shaken the community at 4:03 a.m. PT on Friday, May 15th, 2020.
The map above from the United States Geological Survey shows where the earthquake occurred.
The earthquake was felt in the Nevada cities of Reno, Las Vegas and Eastern Sierra areas, as well as across the mountains in the California cities of Fresno and Bakersfield and the San Francisco Bay Area.
It’s unclear if the quake caused any damage or if anyone was injured.
