Mohave Valley, Arizona: The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe will be having a groundbreaking ceremony for the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe’s new convenience store and fuel station at 12:00 p.m. MT on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 1520 East Courtwright Road near Arizona State Route 95.

The 5,750 square foot store will have 8 fueling positions and thousands of snack, beverage and food options available for any appetite.

The 24 hour convenience store will also include a separate Smokeshop stocked with a variety of tobacco products and a gaming area planned with up to fifteen slot machines.

Construction will begin immediately and the store is expected to open for business in September 2020.

The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe currently operates a convenience store in Mohave Valley, Arizona that offers food and beverage items, tobacco products and fuel 24 hours a day.

The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe’s convenience store in Laughlin, Nevada provides customers with food and beverage items, tobacco products, alcohol, fuel and fireworks until midnight (MT) seven days a week.

The groundbreaking ceremony is open to the public and will also feature performances by the Fort Mojave Tribal Marching Band, tribal bird singers and dancers and remarks from the Tribal Council.

The Avi Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada will provide hot dogs, chips and drinks for those in attendance.
