News Alert: Downtown Needles, CA: Investigation underway on who scattered along streets marijuana trimmings taken from a cannabis cultivation trash bin.

Downtown Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station is investigating who scattered marijuana trimmings along streets on Monday, February 17th, 2020.

The marijuana trimmings were taken out of a lock gated trash bin near a cannabis cultivation near I Street.

The marijuana trimmings were seen along H Street near the old Needles Pharmacy, along West Broadway from I Street to E Street, along E Street and down an alleyway towards D Street.

Citizens we’re seen cleaning up the trail of marijuana trimmings, and later properly disposing the marijuana trimmings.

The marijuana trimmings were also cleaned up in the alleyway and trash bin area near the cannabis cultivation by cannabis cultivation employees.

Officials from the City of Needles arrived to the scene to investigate the incident and to talk with the people at the cannabis cultivation.

ZachNews is being told that the marijuana trimmings were sprayed before they were disposed making them non-usable.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station is checking near by surveillance camera footage to find out who the person or persons that broke into the trash bin, grabbed the marijuana trimmings and scattered them along streets.

ZachNews has requested any pictures or videos of the actually break in to the trash bin, but still waiting a response.

At this moment, no arrest have been made yet in this incident.
