Colorado River Tri-State: The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Wind Advisory for the Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave-Lake Mead National Recreation Area- Cadiz Basin-San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley- Including Lake Havasu City, Desert Hills, Topock, Bullhead City, Oatman, Mohave Valley, Vidal Junction, Needles, Hoover Dam, and Laughlin until 7:00 p.m. PT in California or 8:00 p.m. MT in Arizona on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020.
The Wind Advisory includes Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave in Arizona, the San Bernardino County- Upper Colorado River Valley and Cadiz Basin in California, and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada.
North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result due to higher gusts.
Precautionary and preparedness actions; use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
