Apple Valley, California: According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, firefighters are on scene of a traffic collision fire involving two semi trucks along southbound Interstate 15 just south of Hodge Road.

The traffic collision occurred after 4:00 a.m. PT on Sunday, January 19th, 2020.

One of the semi trucks were carrying several hazardous chemicals.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, two fatalities in the traffic collision and one patience was immediate transported to LLUMC.

Firefighters have knocked down the fire and Hazmat team has made entry and mitigated the Haz Mat, units out for overhaul.

Southbound lanes of Interstate 15 just recently reopened after being closed for several hours.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the traffic collision fire.
