Needles, California: The Needles Board of Public Utilities held a meeting inside the Needles City Council Chambers on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020.

** Consent Calendar: **

All matters listed on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed. The Chairman or any Member of the Board may pull an item from the Consent Calendar for discussion. Prior to Board action, a member of the public may address the Board on matters scheduled on the Consent Calendar. A three-minute time limit per person applies. Recommended Action: Approve Items #1 through #4 on the Consent Calendar by affirmative vote.

  • Agenda Item #1:

Accept the bid of Jonovich Companies in the amount of $404,097 for the K Street Sewer Lift Station Redesign which consists of installation of a pre-fabricated sewer lift station to be placed on parcel #0185-109-44 and connect to existing sewer mains for a total project cost of $465,978 and authorize staff to issue a Notice of Award and Notice to Proceed; AND Accept Change Order #1 to remove the electrical component and spare pump for a revised bid of $352,017 to Jonovich Companies and revised total project cost of $413,898.

Members of the Needles Board of Public Utilities voted unanimously to approve Agenda Item #1 on the Consent Calendar.

Appoint three Commissioners to a NPUA 1MW Solar Development Ad-Hoc Committee.

Members of the Needles Board of Public Utilities voted unanimously to appoint Needles Board of Public Utilities Members Phil, Terry and Mike to the NPUA 1MW Solar Development Ad-Hoc Committee.
