News Update!!: Needles, CA: More information released regarding fatal crash off Interstate 40 near California Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Corners Division has released more information in the fatal crash off eastbound Interstate 40 near California Avenue in Needles, California on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Corners Division, “On Wednesday, December 04, 2019, at 4:07 P.M., a 1992 Jeep Cherokee was found on its roof, in a stand of trees, on the side of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Needles. Emergency personnel responded to find the driver of the Jeep Cherokee dead at the scene. The vehicle was apparently traveling westbound on Interstate 40 when for reasons unknown, the Cherokee crossed the center divider and went off the roadway coming to rest on its roof. The decedent is believed to be a 21 year old male resident of Lake Havasu Arizona. The name is being withheld pending positive identification of the decedent. The Needles office of the California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.”
