Needles, CA: Felon arrested after methamphetamine, firearms and ammunition found in her residence.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, on Sunday, November 10th, 2019, deputies served a search warrant for narcotics at a residence located at 1500 block of Highland Street in Needles, California.
During the search, evidence indicative of the sales of narcotics was recovered.
A stolen firearm and ammunition were also located inside the home.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, 39 year old Melina Garcia from Needles, California is a convicted felon and she is prohibited from possessing either firearms or ammunition.
Garcia was arrested for H&S 11378, Possession for sales, H&S 11370.1, Possession of methamphetamine and firearm, PC 29800(a)(1), Felon in possession of a firearm, PC 496, Possession of stolen property, PC 30305(a)(1), Felon in possession of ammunition.
Garcia was booked into the Colorado River Station Jail without incident.
Her bail was set at $50,000.00.
