Havasu Lake, CA: Deputies arrested a man for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and felony vandalism.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at about 11:15 a.m. PT on Sunday, October 13th, 2019, deputies from the Colorado River Station responded to the 10 block of Rosie Hock Road in Havasu Lake, California following the report of a disturbance.
When deputies arrived, they determined the suspect, who was later identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station as 30 year old Daniel Hernandez from Havasu Lake, California, slashed a tire on a vehicle, threatened the life of the victim and then lunged toward him while holding a knife.
Hernandez left the scene prior to deputies arriving but, was later located at another residence in Havasu Lake.
Hernandez was arrested and booked for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Threats, and Felony Vandalism.
Hernandez is currently being held in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on $50,000.00 bail pending a court hearing.
