Needles, CA: Man from Lake Havasu, Arizona was identified as the suspect in the theft of a Bobcat tractor.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 deputies from the Needles Police Station responded to the 1800 block of Needles Highway in Needles, California reference a vehicle theft.
Brack Construction employees reported for work in Bullhead City, Arizona and noticed their Bobcat tractor had been stolen from the incident location.
Security camera footage showed a suspect entering the property and driving off with the tractor at approximately 5:30 p.m. PT on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019.
The tractor is valued at $45,000.
Fort Mohave Tribal Police assisted deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station in identifying the suspect as 50 years old Richard Layman of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station later released these pictures of the suspect in this incident.
