Downtown Needles, CA: Deputies arrested a man from Williams, Arizona for possession of a stolen vehicle.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 8:52 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, deputies were in the area of the 1100 block of 3rd Street in Downtown Needles, California conducting routine vehicle checks.
Deputy Hernandez located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Cerritos, California.
Deputies made contact with the occupants of the vehicle.
Through investigation, the driver of the vehicle, identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station as 60 year old Timothy David Spence from Williams, Arizona was taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle.
Spence was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking.
Spence is being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
