Needles, CA: Deputies arrested and booked a man for attempted murder, felon in possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 9:09 p.m. PT on Friday, April 12, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Desert Drive in Needles, California for multiple reports of gun shots.

Deputy Valdez arrived on scene and contacted with a man, identified publicly by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station as 51 years old Larry Esquibel of Needles, California, who was found to be armed with three pistols.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, the investigation showed Larry Esquibel had fired multiple shots into his neighbor’s house and other houses on the street.

Larry Esquibel was arrested and booked for attempted murder, felon in possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling.

Larry Esquibel is being held on $1,000,000 bail.
