Needles, CA: Man arrested at the Needles Skate Park for possession of an illegal weapon.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, on Thursday, March 7th, 2019, deputies responded to the Needles City Skate Park in Needles, California in response to a report of a male and female subject seen smoking illegal substances in the restroom area.
Deputies arrived and contacted two people, identified publicly by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station as 28 years old Kasey Lively from Mohave Valley, Arizona and 29 years old Abel Rodriguez from needles, California at the park next to the restrooms.
During the contact, Lively displayed symptoms consistent with the use of a controlled substance and was detained. She was searched and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine then booked into the Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California for HS11377(a), a misdemeanor, and later cite-released.
When deputies spoke to Rodriguez, a search of his person was conducted, and he was found in possession of an illegal weapon (fixed blade double-edged knife). He was arrested for PC21310, a felony, and booked into the Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California with bail set at $20,000.00.
