Breaking News!!: Henderson, NV: Wanted suspect in armed robbery at Motel 6 in Needles, California as well as various crimes in other states, including murder, arrested.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 12:25 a.m. PT on Thursday, January 24th, 2019, deputies responded to Motel 6 located in the 1400 block of J Street in Needles, California for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

Deputies arrived on scene and determined the female victim was struck on the head and her purse was stolen.
The victim believed the weapon used to strike her was a handgun.
The suspect fled in a vehicle towards the Interstate 40.
Through continuous investigation, the suspect was identified as 34 years old Joseph Martinez-Berryhill from Phoenix, Arizona.
On Monday, January 28th, 2019, Joseph Martinez-Berryhill was arrested in Henderson, Nevada for an additional robbery.
Joseph Martinez-Berryhill was also a suspect in an armed robbery in Kingman, Arizona that occurred hours before the robbery in Needles, California.
After Joseph Martinez-Berryhill was arrested in Henderson, Nevada, it was discovered he had an active warrant for a murder in Phoenix, Arizona.
Joseph Martinez-Berryhill was interviewed by detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station and the Kingman Police Department for armed robbery.
Martinez-Berryhill remains in custody in Clark County, Nevada.
