Needles, CA: Deputies arrested two people during a search warrant.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 1:15 p.m. PT on Wednesday, January 30th, 2019, deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Cherry Drive in Needles, California.

The search warrant was part of an on-going theft investigation. 

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, 49 year old Robert Heliker from Needles, California and 37 year old Kristina Hittle from Needles, California were contacted during the warrant service. Heliker and was found to be in possession of ammunition. 

Heliker has previous felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition and was arrested. 

Hittle was found to be in possession of suspected met hamphetamine and was also arrested. 

Hittle was booked into the Colorado River Station Jail and later released on a citation. 

Heliker was also booked into the Colorado River Station Jail and is being held on $35,000 bail.
