News Alert!!: United States of America: United States Postal Service will suspend mail service Wednesday to honor former United States President George H.W. Bush.

To honor former United States President George H.W. Bush, the United States Postal Service will suspend mail service on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018.

According to the United States Postal Service, United States of America President Donald Trump has declared Wednesday a “National Day of Mourning” in remembrance of former United States President George H.W. Bush.

George H.W. Bush died at the age of 94 years old on the night of Friday, November 30th, 2018 at his home in Houston, Texas.

His death was announced by his office and came less than eight months after his wife, Barbara Bush died.

Before their passing, George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush were married for 73 years.

According to the United States Postal Service, we will limit package delivery service that day to ensure the network remains fluid in package deliveries.

The United States Postal Service added that the decision for limited deliveries is to not have any impacts that will negatively affect customers during the remainder of the holiday season.
