Breaking News!!: Anchorage, AK: Magnitudes 7.0 earthquake hits Anchorage, Alaska.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake has occurred in Anchorage, Alaska on Friday, November 30th, 2018.

Reports of an on-ramp to a highway suffered damage, large cracks along the roadway with the car stranded on part of the damage roadway.

According to the Alaska Department of Transportation, multiple sections of roadway with significant damage, including an exit ramp from Minnesota Drive south to International Airport Road in Anchorage, Alaska that was partially collapsed.
There’s also reports that the earthquake knocked ceiling tiles down and other items at KTVA television studio, broke store windows, opened cracks in a two-story building downtown, disrupted electrical service and disabled traffic lights, snarling traffic.
Several cars reportedly crashed at a major intersection in Wasilla, Alaska area during the earthquake.
At this moment, there were no immediate reports of any deaths or serious injuries related to the earthquake.

A tsunami warning was issued for the coastal areas of Cook Inlet and the southern Kenai Peninsula.
A tsunami warning has been lifted following the magnitude 7.0 earthquake.
Anchorage’s Mayor Ethan Berkowitz declared a local state of emergency Friday morning, following Governor Bill Walker’s disaster declaration at the state level.
United States President Donald Trump tweeted,”To the Great people of Alaska. You have been hit hard by a “big one.” Please follow the directions of the highly trained professionals who are there to help you. Your Federal Government will spare no expense. God Bless you ALL!”
Preliminary reports gauged the earthquake at 6.6 magnitude centered 10 miles outside of Anchorage, Alaska but that was later upgraded to 7.0 magnitude, though others such as Governor Walker have said it may be as high as 7.2 magnitude.
