Needles, CA: Deputies arrested a 16 year old male juvenile for vandalizing over $3,000 worth of property.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 11th, 2018, several areas in the Needles, California were vandalized with black spray paint that read “Southside I.E.”
The locations that were tagged included the overpass at J Street and Interstate 40, four vehicles at the 100 block of Spruce Street and the “California” tunnel located at West Broadway south of Needles Hwy.
The total cost to repair city property, state property and personal vehicles is estimated at over $3,000.00.
Deputy F. Hernandez was continuing the investigation of this incident and on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 the suspect was arrested for PC 594, Felony Vandalism.
The 16 year old male juvenile from Needles, California was on active probation for burglary and was transported to the Apple Valley Juvenile Hall where he was booked for felony vandalism.
