Breaking News!!: Fenner, CA: Fatal vehicle rollover crash along Interstate 40.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle rolled over into the center divider along Interstate 40 near Fenner, California at 6:20am PT on Monday, November 19th, 2018.
Firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 responded to the rollover crash.
As 6:55am PT, fire department tells Com-Center that they’ve arrived and the patient is “D.O.A.” (Dead On Arrival).
California Highway Patrol posting on their Traffic Incident Information Page that the incident is a “Fatality”.
A traffic hazard has been issued for the area along Interstate 40, please use caution when driving in this area.
ZachNews contacted the California Highway Patrol for more information regarding this fatal crash, and got a response.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver, only being identified by the the California Highway Patrol as a 55 year old male from Rialto, California, was driving in a 1996 Isuzu vehicle westbound on Interstate 40, east of Goffs Road, while in the #1 lane at an undetermined speed. For an unknown reason, driver steered vehicle to the left and entered the dirt/brush center median where it subsequently overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels, in the center median, where it was facing in a southeasterly direction. The male driver received fatal injuries as a result of this collision.
At this moment, no name was released by the California Highway Patrol until authorities notified next of kin.
