Needles, CA: Needles High School Homecoming Week 2018: Students painted horseshoes along streets on Senior Appreciation Day.

Students were seen painting horseshoes along Bailey Avenue and Washington Street in Needles, California on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018.

A long line of kids were seen walking along Bailey Avenue just north of the Needles Courthouse where ZachNews was setting up to report on the National Day of the Republic of China 10-10 Ceremony 2018.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez ran over and captured all of the activity going on along Bailey Avenue as students were painting onto the roadway large horseshoes, which lead all the way to Needles High School.

Freshmen students were seen dressed up in different consumes and pushing around seniors students on wagons and wheelchairs along the way as students continued painting Needles Mustang Blue along the way back towards Needles High School where a talent show was held later that morning.

All of the events were part of Senior Appreciation Day, as part of the many events being held for Needles High School Homecoming Week 2018.

In a posted statement, the Needles Unified School District said, “Thank you to teachers and parents who supported our students in these activities! Thank you to the City of Needles who kept our students safe while painting!

ZachNews will be broadcasting live on Facebook some of the events being hold on Thursday and Friday for Needles High School Homecoming Week 2018 in Needles, California.
