– Agenda Item #2:

Accept the bid of T&R Electric Supply Company Inc. for the purchase of pole mount transformers at a cost not to exceed $24,700.

Members of the Needles Board of Public Utilities voted unanimously to approve Agenda Items #1 through #2 on the Consent Calendar.

– Agenda Item #3:

Discussion regarding the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) for the quarter ending July 31, 2018 and recommendation to implement a $0.0323 per KWH power cost increase on electric over-hydro usage for the period October through December 2018 based on the PCA calculations.

Members of the Needles Board of Public Utilities voted unanimously to approve no changes to the P.C.A.; leave as is.

This agenda item will be back at the next meeting in October 2018 for a review.

Needles City Manager spoke about the recent power outage and utility pole that got knocked down near Needles High School in Needles, California by a semi truck which left the scene and has not been found. Spoke about possible signage so that semi trucks know not to go down that street.

Needles City Manager spoke about utility assistance program related to energy efficient appliances replacement and results of the program in numbers.
