Downtown Needles, CA: Elections 2018: Candidates Forum on Wednesday for Needles City Mayor and Needles City Council.

A candidates forum for Needles City Mayor and Needles City Council will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 inside the Community Hall at the El Garces Train Depot, located next to Santa Fe Park on the 900 block of Front Street, in Downtown Needles, California.

The doors open at 5:30pm PT and the candidates forum starts at 6:00pm PT.

Current Needles Vice Mayor Jeff Williams is running unopposed for Needles Mayor.

Current Needles Mayor Edward T. Paget M.D. is running for Needles City Council along with incumbent Needles City Council Member Louise Evans and challengers Timothy Terral, Barbara L. Beard and Zachery Longacre; all 5 candidates are running for 3 seats on the Needles City Council.

The Needles Unified School District will not be at the candidates forum because they are not having an election.

The candidates forum is being hosted and organized by the Needles Downtown Business Alliance.

There will be a moderator who will be conducting the candidates forum and be reading off questions to the candidates provided by the public.

Questions for the candidates will be allow from the public in writing on index cards.

The index cards will then be reviewed and the acceptable questions will be allowed to be asked to the candidates well any negative questions will not be asked to the candidates.

The candidates will have all the opening statements followed by addressing questions from the public and closing statements at the end of the candidates forum.

The candidates forum is open to the public and ZachNews will be at the candidates forum, broadcasting live at ZachNews on Facebook.

You will be able to vote of the candidates running for Needles City Mayor and Needles City Council during the General Elections being held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018.
