The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 11:45pm PT for the Vidal Junction, California area.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has posted on their official Twitter page that a strong storm is moving SW @ 20 mph toward Highway 62 east of Vidal Junction. This storm is capable of wind gusts in excess of 60 mph, hail, & localized flooding.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 11:45pm PT and a Flood Advisory until 11:15pm PT for the Vidal Junction, California area.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has posted on their official Twitter page that heavy rain associated with a strong thunderstorm will produce minor flooding, especially across highway 62.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 10:30pm PT for the Vidal Junction, California area.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has posted on their official Twitter page that a severe storm is moving west @ 20 mph toward Highway 95 north of Vidal Junction. Wind in excess of 60 mph, hail, & isolated heavy rain will be possible with this storm.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 9:00pm MST for the Yucca, Arizona area.

A severe storm is moving SW at 20 mph along Interstate 40 between Kingman, Arizona and Yucca, Arizona. This storm will be capable of winds in excess of 60 mph and small hail. Drive with caution!

** As of 8:12pm PT on Thursday, August 9th, 2018: **

Weather radar from NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 shows scattered thunderstorms near Kingman, Arizona and Yucca, Arizona.

Thunderstorms appears to be moving southwest towards communities along the Colorado River.

The National Weather Service posted on their Official Twitter page that a Dust Storm Warning has been expanded and extended until 9:30pm. Gusts of 35-45 mph and visibility will drop below 1/4 mile. Driving will be impossible with these conditions. Pull off the road if you encounter the dust!.

Be prepared in case of any gusty winds, blowing dust, moderate to heavy rain fall, hail, and thunder with lightning.

Stay away from areas where flooding occurs, and do not drive into a flooded roadway; Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
