Breaking News!!: Topock, AZ: Swift water rescue reported along the Sacramento Wash.
There is reports of a swift water rescue along the Sacramento Wash along Oatman-Topock Highway (Route 66) near Topock, Arizona.
The call came into at around 12:54am MST on Friday, August 3rd, 2018.
San Bernardino County Fire Department Station #32 and Swift Water #42 have responded to the emergency call.
Reports that several vehicles are seen in 3 feet of water.
As of 1:49am, San Bernardino County Fire Department telling dispatch that there appear to be no life threatening patients at this moment but they will remain on site to keep checking for anybody in the water.
As of 1:51am, Swift Water #42 has arrive to the location.
As of 2:22am, San Bernardino County Fire Department telling dispatch that they have located “the last victim” and is pulling the person out. May have been more victims located earlier.
As of 2:32am, San Bernardino County Fire Department telling dispatch that the “last victim” is with medical.
As of 2:58am PT, San Bernardino County Fire Department telling dispatch to notify Golden Shores Fire Department and to show San Bernardino County Fire Department Station #32 and Swift Water #42 are available on radio and are returning to Needles, California.
No further information has been official released yet by the San Bernardino County Fire Department or Golden Shores Fire Department regarding the exact number of people that were located, other then what was reported over the fire department scanner. Will update if updates come into ZachNews.
