Colorado River Tri-State: Celebrate Independence Day 2018 with Fireworks Shows tonight.

Here are a few places where you can watch fireworks shows on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 to celebrate Independence Day 2018.

** Scheduled Independence Day 2018 Fireworks Shows: **

  • Fireworks Over the Lake:
  • 9:00pm MST on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018
  • Thompson Bay in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
  • Admission Price: Free

After the sun goes down, watch the sky light up over Thompson Bay with fellow boaters, beach-goers and tailgaters.

Get to your viewing location early and celebrate the magic and wonder of this Fourth of July fireworks spectacular, or spend the day on the water and tie up with your fellow boaters in Thompson Bay to watch the fireworks from the comfort of your boat.

Please note, officials are reminding pet owners to please keep pets at home and in a secure location. More pets are lost during July 4th than any other day of the year.

Best viewing locations are at the following:

  • Rotary Park (plenty of free parking, straight view of the fireworks, coolers allowed, no alcohol or pets permitted)
  • The Nautical Beachfront Resort (on the island, plenty of free parking, coolers and outside alcohol not permitted) London Bridge Beach (on the island, free parking, coolers allowed)
  • Thompson Bay (via boat*, please anchor both bow and stern due to winds and current, anchor early as Thompson Bay fills up).

Fireworks will be set off directly across the bay from Lookout Point on Spectator Point (at The Nautical Beachfront Resort).

KNTR 980AM for a live simulcast with music set specifically to the fireworks display.

Regarding  pets, please leave pets at home. Fireworks are startling to them and can hurt their sensitive ears.

Please note that significant delays may occur at the boat ramps for retrieval after the fireworks show has ended.

Authorities say all watercraft, including PWCS, must have proper lights at night (violation fines are $205).

Please use caution when going through the Bridgewater Channel or around the Island at night.
