Here is the latest information regarding a deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas that occurred on Friday, May 18th, 2018.

Authorities have released the names of the victims in the deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School.

Authorities in Texas have released the identity and mugshot of the suspect in the deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School.

According to Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset, the suspect, 17 year old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, was held without bond in the Galveston County Jail on charges of capital murder.

Dimitrios Pagourtzis was also charged with aggravated assault against public servant.

The video from NBC News shows the suspect in the deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School at his initial court appearance where he was denied bond on both capital murder and aggravated assault against public servant charges by the judge.

According to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Dimitrios Pagourtzis hid a shotgun and .38-caliber revolver under a trench coat, walked into the school and began firing about 8:00am CT.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said both weapons were owned legally by the suspect’s father but it’s not clear whether the father knew his son had taken them, and that Dimitrios Pagourtzis’ journal revealed that he wanted to kill himself after the shooting, but he admitted to authorities after he was arrested that he did not have the courage to do it.

There’s reports that Dimitrios Pagourtzis had recently posted on his Facebook page a picture of a T-shirt reading “Born to Kill”. That Facebook page has reportedly since been taken down.

Classmates who know Dimitrios Pagourtzis expressed shock he might be involved in the killings, and described Dimitrios Pagourtzis as quiet, an avid video game player who routinely wore a black trench coat and black boots to class, played football on the school’s junior varsity squad and danced as part of a church group.

In addition to Dimitrios Pagourtzis, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said that 2 others people were detained, but it’s not clear how they are connected to the deadly shooting.

The deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School left 10 people, 9 children and a teacher, were killed and 10 people wounded.

A spokesman for U.T.M.B Hospital in Galveston, Texas said doctors here treated a 16 year old male and a middle aged woman well a spokesman for Clear Lake Regional Medical Center said doctors there treated some of the injured.

Santa Fe I.S.D. Police Officer John Barnes was among those injured in the deadly shooting at Santa Fe High School.

Food trucks, the Red Cross and bank employees have been set up at Texas First Bank on Highway 6 for a vigil which starts at 6:30pm CT.

Meanwhile, Bomb Squads descended on the Santa Fe High School area after the deadly shooting.

Officials said at least 4 pipe bombs were found inside Santa Fe High School and none of the devices exploded.

Authorities said explosive devices were also found at off school campus locations.

According to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, one of the devices was powered by carbon dioxide while another one appeared to be a Molotov cocktail.

Authorities surrounded a home about three miles away from the school, where a deputy said there was a bomb inside the house. Investigators also swarmed a second home in a neighborhood about five miles away from the high school.

Officials there could be seen gearing up with battering rams, sledgehammers and saws.

At this moment, it’s not immediately clear exactly how either of those scenes was connected to the deadly shooting.

Officials urged the community to immediately report anything suspicious, and not to handle any items that appear out of place.

Reports from witnesses say the shooting took place in an art class on school campus at around 8:00am CT on Friday, May 18th, 2018.

Reports that a fire alarm went off followed by gunshots were heard.

Santa Fe Police department, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, ATF and FBI agents have all responded to the Santa Fe High School located at 16000 Highway 6.

At this moment, at least 10 people are dead, include 9 students and an adult who is a teacher.

There’s also reports that at least 2 officer, including an officer who was on school campus, was transported to a hospital who was injured.

The Santa Fe Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a suspect is in police custody and a person who was reportedly detained, is in police custody for possible accomplice.

According to law enforcement agencies, it appears the shooter is a student.

The Santa Fe Police Department say that explosive devices have been found inside the school and in the area, and ask the public to call 911 if they seen anything suspicious devices.

Reports that the explosive devices appear to be pressure cooker and pipe type devices.

At this time, students from the high school are being transported by S.F.I.S.D. transportation to the Alamo Gym located at 13306 Highway 6, and parents may reunite with their students at this location.
