News Update!!: Mohave Valley, AZ: Investigation determined vegetation fire on Boundary Peak Road started by an earlier controlled burn.

According to the Mohave Valley Fire Department, an investigation into a vegetation fire on Boundary Peak Road determined to have started by an earlier controlled burn on Thursday, March 8th, 2018.

At around 2:09pm MST, firefighters responded to a reported structure fire in the 8200 block of Boundary Peak Road in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

Firefighters from Mohave Valley Fire Department along with Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived on scene to find a vegetation fire spreading and threatening structures.

All fire department units were released from the scene crews well firefighters from Mohave Valley Fire Department Station 81 continue to check on the fire throughout the night and the weekend.

After the investigation, it was determined that this fire was started by a controlled burn earlier in the day.

There were no reports of injuries in this vegetation fire.
