Breaking News!!: Parker, AZ: Firefighters have contained a brush fire on the Colorado River Indian Tribe Reservation.
A brush fire was burning in the Colorado River Indian Tribe Reservation in Parker, Arizona.
The brush fire being called the “Gould Fire” started before 8:00pm MST on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018.
Firefighters with the Colorado River Indian Tribe Fire Department as well as assistance from the Yucca Fire District and Mohave Valley Fire Department responded to the brush fire.
Video from the Mohave Valley Fire Department shows the brush fire burning in vegetation along the Colorado River.
Pictures from the Yucca Fire District show how close the brush fire is to roadways and buildings.
Firefighters did structure protection during the brush fire.
According to the Colorado River Indian Tribe Police, the brush fire has been contained, no buildings were burned, and the cause is unknown.
Firefighters will remain at the site overnight to make sure no flare ups occur.
