  • Agenda Item #7(A):

A request by Tom Van Sant to subdivide a 5.02+/- acre parcel into four parcels. Parcel 1, 1.44 acres; parcel 2, 1.41 acres; parcel 3, 1.00 acres; parcel 4, 1.17 acres. Tentative Parcel Map 19700 is located at 4534 My Place Road, Needles, CA, in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-251-07.

Approve the Findings of Facts, and Resolution No.0 2-07-2018 PC recommending approval of Tentative Parcel Map No. 19700,a subdivision of a 5.02+/- acre parcel into four parcels. Parcel 1, 1.44 Acres, parcel 2, 1.41 acres; parcel 3, 1.00 acres; parcel 4, 1.17 acres. Tentative Parcel Map 19700 is located at 4534 My Place Road, Needles, CA, in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-251-07.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission unanimously voted to approve the Findings of Facts, and Resolution No.0 2-07-2018 PC.

Application from Mr. Kevin Ostby for a Special Use Permit to allow the installation of a 40’ tower to provide wireless internet service, at 3630 Riverview Terrace, Needles, CA, located in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-151-36.

Approve the Findings of Facts, and Resolution No. 12-13-2017-1 PC approving a Special Use Permit to allow the installation of a 40’ tower to provide wireless internet service, at 3630 Riverview Terrace, Needles, CA, located in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-151-36.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission unanimously voted to continue the item and get more information to be provided to members at their next meeting. 

 

  • Agenda Item #7(C):

Application from Mr. Mark Sparks for a Special Use Permit to allow the installation of a 30’ tower to provide wireless internet service, at 4746 My Place Road, Needles, CA, located in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-261-82.

Approve the Findings of Facts and Resolution No. 02-07-2018-2 approving a Special Use Permit for a 30’ tower to provide wireless internet service, at 4746 My Place Road, Needles, CA, located in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as Assessor’s Parcel No. 0660-261-82.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission voted 5-2 to approve the Findings of Facts and Resolution No. 02-07-2018-2, with the addition motion: that a fence will be place around the tower and if it doesn’t meet requirements, be taken down and moved. Members Linda Kidd and Janet Jernigan voted “No” on the agenda item. 

 

  • Agenda Item #7(D):

Application from Palms River Resort for a Special Use Permit to allow the installation of a 40’ tower to provide wireless internet service, located at 4170 Needles Highway, Needles, CA 92363 in the “CRR” Commercial Resort Residential Zone, also known as APN 0660-211-39. 

Agenda Item #7(D) was continued to their next meeting on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018.

Code Enforcement status update on properties receiving violations for sites with non-compliant landscape code requirements.

Agenda Item #7(E) was information only and no votes was taken by members of the Needles Planning Commission.

Discussion on placing on Planning Commission Agenda an amendment to the fence requirement for the Medical Investor’s Holdings (MIH) Site 1.
