Breaking News!!: Needles, CA: Frank Costigan of KTOX 1340 AM and 104.1 FM has died.
ZachNews has just learn that Frank Costigan of KTOX 1340 AM and 104.1 FM has died on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 from complications from pneumonia.
Frank Costigan, who was 77 years old and was last living in Needles, California, died well at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Frank Costigan had complained of severe shortness of breath earlier Thursday at his residence in Needles, California.
Paramedics were called and took him to Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, California then was flown to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before being the afternoon radio host for the “Afternoon Drive By” on KTOX 1340 AM and 104.1 FM, Frank Costigan worked in the United States NAVY, police officer, police chief at L.A.X., fireman, and a night club mamager.
Frank Costigan also use to work side by side with Dave Hayes when they hosted the morning talk radio show, “Don’t Start Me Talking”, talking about local issues affecting the community and doing investigating news reports as well as talked about the U.F.O. crash in Needles, California.
Frank Costigan and Dave Hayes were well known for their interviews with news outlets regarding the U.F.O. crash landing that occurred in Needles, California in May 2008 as well as raising concerns over clean up from the River Regatta event in Bullhead City, Arizona which got national attention.
Dave Hayes, who also use to own KTOX 1340 AM in Needles, California, died on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017.
Frank Costigan is survived by daughter Jolene Hugon and sons Chris and Chad Costigan.
