According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at 2:00pm PT on Thursday, December 7th, 2017, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station conducted a probation compliance check at the residence of 41 year old James Dean Hicks located on the 2000 block of Parkway Street in Needles, California.
James Hicks is on felony probation and subject to search at any time, per his terms of probation.
Upon arrival at James Hicks’ residence, a male adult was seen leaving James Hicks’ residence.
That male adult identified as 52 year old James Haney was contacted by deputies and was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, James Haney was cited and released from the scene.
A subsequent search of James Hicks’ residence revealed James Hicks was in possession of additional suspected
methamphetamine and other items consistent with the sales of narcotics such as methamphetamine.
James Hicks was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales and booked into Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California.
James Hicks is being held on a no bail probation hold.
