The community is asked to attend the upcoming Needles Planning Committee Meeting, schedule for 4:00pm PT on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 at the Needles City Council Chambers, located at 1111 Bailey Avenue, in Needles, California and voice you comments, opinions, or ideas about what Downtown Needles, California should be.

You can also submitted your comments, opinions, or ideas by mail before the date of the Needles Planning Committee Meeting by mailing your comments to Needles Administration Office, 817 Third Street, Needles, California, 92363.

If you’re unable to attend, the Needles Planning Committee Meeting will be broadcast live at ZachNews on Facebook starting at 4:00pm PT on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017.

The matter regarding establishing a downtown district will be duscuss during Agenda Item #6(C): Cannabis Locations in Downtown.

Some residents and businesses are wanting to see the establishment of a downtown district to keep that part of their community for retail instead of medical marijuana facilities.
