News Update!!: Topock, AZ: More information released regarding overnight shooting.

ZachNews has the latest information regarding an overnight shooting in Topock, Arizona.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, at about 11:50pm MST on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017, deputies and detectives responded to a weapons offense call where shots were heard evening in the 12900 block of South Oatman-Topock Highway (Route 66) in Topock, Arizona.

Pictures sent into ZachNews from Sabrina Coker show a Golden SUV, possible older model suburban, parked near the fire station for the Golden Shores Fire Department.

Deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office were seen in front of the fire station and closing off the area.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, investigations determined an adult male subject was parked at the Family Dollar store parking lot when somebody shot him.

ZachNews received this picture from Sabrina Coker of a helicopter that landed at Topock Elementary School to transport somebody to a hospital.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, medical responded to the scene, treated a male victim, and was transported to a hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The Family Dollar is open and South Oatman-Topock Highway (Route 66) is open.
