Needles, CA: Deputies arrested man from Bakersfield, California for possession of stolen vehicle and found several no bail warrants.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at approximately 5:00pm PT on Friday, September 8, 2017, Deputy Abell ran a license plate check on a black Toyota Camry, which returned as stolen.

Deputy Abell turned to initiate a traffic stop on J Street at Coronado Street in Needles, California and noticed the rear license plate did not match the front plate. The rear license plate returned stolen from a 2008 Honda.
Upon making contact with the driver, Noelle Wilson, Deputy Abell was able to determine Wilson was not truthful about her true identity.
Wilson’s true identity was found to be 37 year old Arianne Gerwing from Bakerfield, California.
Gerwing was found to have several No Bail warrants with full extradition from Minnesota and Wisconsin, for vehicle theft and identity theft.
Gerwing was also found in possession of several state identification cards, bank cards/check book and social security cards.
Gerwing was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and transported to the Colorado River Station Jail in Needles, California for booking.
Contact was made with several citizen’s and Law Enforcement agencies in California. These contacts lead to Gerwing being an unidentified suspect in several theft/fraud investigations.
