Needles, CA: Deputies arrested a woman for burglary at Motel 6.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at 2:34pm PT on Monday, September 4th, 2017, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station investigated a burglary of a motel room at Motel 6, located at 1420 J Street, in Needles, California.
Sometime between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on September 3 and 1:00 a.m. on September 4, 2017 a suspect entered the victim’s motel room stealing his iPad and Citizen watch.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 28 year old Maria D. Sanchez from Mohave Valley, Arizona.
Sanchez was an employee at Motel 6 and was working at the time she committed the burglary.
On September 5, 2017 at 10:52 a.m., Sanchez was contacted at her place of empoyment, interviewed and arrested.
Sanchez was booked at the Needles jail for PC 459 Residential Burglary with a of $75,000.00 bail.
