Golden Valley, AZ: Pilot of a Ultra Glider aircraft dies in crash.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, search and rescue units along with deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a an ultra glider aircraft crash early Saturday, May 27th, 2017 northwest of Walnut Creek area in Golden Valley< Arizona.
At about 6:42am MST, the reporting party in the area reported seeing an ultra glider go up and then come down.
The reporting party further said that he hiked to the area of the crash and he does not believe the pilot is alive.
The pilot, a male subject of Golden Valley, Arizona did not survive the crash.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, the male subject has been identified and his identity will be released after next of kin has been notified.
The Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) and National Transportation Safety Board (N.T.S.B.) have been notified.
