Yucca Valley, CA: Transient arrested for kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, and terrorist threats.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, at about 11:00pm PT on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of a kidnapping/false imprisonment in the 56000 block of Sunnyslope Drive in Yucca Valley, California.
The victim told deputies she met 36 year old David Graham, a transient, on Sunday, March 12th, 2017.
For approximately three days, David Graham held the victim in his vehicle, against her will.
David Graham used metal flashlights to beat the victim, pointed a firearm at her, and threatened to kill her if she tried to escape.
The victim eventually escaped the vehicle and ran to a residence to call 911.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
At approximately 2:15am PT on Thursday, March 16th, 2017, Deputy Adrian Garcia located David Graham, in his vehicle, near the intersection of State Route 62 and Kickapoo Trail in Yucca Valley, California.
During a search of the vehicle David Graham located an airsoft pistol, which was used during the incident.
David Graham was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail.
David Graham is currently being held on a $250,000 bail.
