Traffic Update!!: Needles, CA: U.S. 95 reopens after jackknifed big rig truck accident and fuel spilled.
A big rig truck jackknifed along East Broadway (U.S. 95) at Morgan Drive in Needles, California at around 10:36am PT on Monday, January 9th, 2017.
The jackknifed big rig truck accident caused 15 gallons of fuel spilled over all lanes.

Because of the accident and the 15 gallons of fuel spilled, both directions of East Broadway (U.S. 95) from Morgan Drive to Spike Road was closed.
Traffic southbound was backed up to Interstate 40 leaving motorists, including other semi trucks, having to navigate small neighborhood streets around the closure.
Caltrans and tow truck crews worked hard to remove the wreck big rig truck and clean up the spill.
As of 1:49pm PT, both directions of East Broadway (U.S. 95) from Morgan Drive to Spike Road have been reopened.
At this moment, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department tells ZachNews that there is no reports of injuries.
The driver was seen standing along the roadway, alright but said that this was his first accident.
At this moment, the cause of the accident is unknown.
