Lake Havasu City, AZ: 34th Annual Boat Parade of Lights.
Come and welcome in the holiday season with lots of lighted boats at the 34th Annual Boat Parade of Lights being held at 6:30pm MST on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 and on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 along the Bridgewater Channel, located at 422 English Village and 1477 Queens Bay, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Watch the boats, that are brightly decorated in their holiday best, cruise through the Bridgewater Channel beginning in Thompson Bay and continuing under the London Bridge to the north end of the Channel, with a turnaround at Windsor Beach and back.
The 34th Annual Boat Parade of Lights is free and there is plenty of free parking is available at the English Village and in the parking areas on the island near the Bridgewater Channel.
Plan to get there early as traffic around the London Bridge can become congested.
There will be great viewing at the Nautical Beachfront Resort (Parade of Lights Starts), Rotary Beach, throughout the Channel on both sides between Rotary Beach and Windsor Beach, the English Village, across the London Bridge, and at any of the restaurants along the Bridgewater Channel, but if you’re planing on watching from the Bridgewater Channel restaurants, early reservations are recommended.
There will be prizes given to boat parade participants for Grand Marshal’s Award, Commodore’s Award, Best Family/Individual Award, Best Corporate Entry Award, Best First-Time Entry Award, Best Service Club/Organization Award, Judge’s Choice Award, and Best Sparkle Award.
