The property, currently a large dirt lot between the on-ramp to westbound Interstate 40 and Pair-A-Dice Boat and RV Storage on Needles, California, will soon become a new medical cannabis cultivation development.

According to Medical Investment Holdings, the groundbreaking event breaks ground for the first 52,000 square feet of what could be over 700,000 square feet of medical cannabis cultivation development.

The development will be one of the first and largest permitted medical marijuana cultivation campuses in California, and will likely become a model for future operations as the industry continues to grow.
The development and subsequent operation of the Medical Investment Holdings campus are expected to bring an estimated 550 jobs to the local community, and when fully operational, the project will bring an estimated $10 millions dollars in tax revenue to the City of Needles to help fund essential city services.
