The 9/11 Memorial Committee welcomes you to the re-dedication ceremony to remember those who perished during the terrorist attacks 15 years ago on 9/11.

The free re-dedication ceremony will be held 8:30am PT on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 at London Bridge Beach located at 1340 McCulloch Boulevard in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

The 9/11 Memorial Committee is made up of veterans, members of fraternal organizations, and Lake Havasu City Police Department and Lake Havasu City Fire Department.

All service organizations who work daily to protect our country and freedom are also honored during the re-dedication ceremony.

On Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, terrorists from the terrorist group Al-Qaeda attacked both buildings of the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, attacked the Pentagon in Washington, District of Columbia, and hijacked United Airlines Flight 93.

Brave men and women passengers and crew members aboard hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 fought the terrorist hijackers and prevented another attack on the United States of America.

The United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania killing all of the passengers and crew members on board the passenger plane.

Over 3,000 people were killed, including 340 New York City Fire Department Firefighters, 23 New York City Police Department Officers, 37 Port Authority Police Department Officers, and 8 Emergency Medical Technicians Workers, and 125 Pentagon Staff, over 6,000 people were injured, and over $10 billion dollars in property and infrastructure damages occurred that tragic morning.
