Bullhead City, AZ: Women from Needles, California arrested for dangerous drugs.
According to the Bullhead City Police Department, at around 3:00pm PT on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016, a woman flagged down officers in the area of Rainbow Drive and Highway 95 in Bullhead City, Arizona.
The women, being identified by Bullhead City Police Department as 49 year old Deanna Marie Tucker of Needles, California, wanted to report a vehicle stolen.
In the vehicle she was in, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana.
Deanna Marie Tucker turned over a container of marijuana to officers.
Officers asked Deanna Marie Tucker permission to search her purse and when she turned over her purse, officers saw a clear plastic baggie between her legs that appeared to be heroin.
Some drug paraphernalia and marijuana were also located in the vehicle.
Officers later saw that in the back seat of their patrol car, there was methamphetamine all over the floorboard.
Deanna Marie Tucker had meth concealed on her person and attempted to crush it up and destroy it with her hands and feet while in the back of their patrol car.
Paramedics took Deanna Marie Tucker to the hospital under the suspicion she ingested some of the methamphetamine.
According to the Bullhead City Police Department, the meth that was collected from the patrol car weighed approximately 3.1 grams.
After being medically cleared, Deanna Marie Tucker was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, dangerous drugs for sale, narcotic drugs, narcotic drugs for sale, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, transportation for the sale of a narcotic drug, and tampering with physical evidence.
Deanna Marie Tucker was booked and transported to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman, Arizona.
