Downtown Needles, California: Soldiers from the Arizona Army National Guard made a pit stop near the Needles Chamber of Commerce Office on Monday, May 30th, 2016.
ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A Lopez spotted the pit stop of military vehicles well on his way to cover a ceremony being held at the Needles Riverview Cemetery for Memorial Day.
Well there saying hello and welcoming them to our community, 12 year old Braxton Webster from Needles, California stopped by to say hello and thanked the soldiers for serving in our military.
Braxton Webster then took a picture with the wonderful soldiers in front of his favorite Humvee and High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (H.M.M.W.V.).
Afterwards, Braxton Webster tells ZachNews that he wants to become a gunsmith and a soldier.
To everybody serving in our military, thank you all for your service and sacrifices for your country; protecting our lives and our freedoms.
Thank You and We Salute You All.
