Needles, CA: 5th Annual Horseshoe Tournament, Family Day in the Park, and Corn Hole Tournament.
The Needles Chamber of Commerce and the 3 Pete’s Memorial Youth Fund presenting the 5th Annual Horseshoe Tournament, Family Day in the Park, and Corn Hole Tournament being held on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at Jack Smith Memorial Park located at 1001 River Road, near the Colorado River, in Needles, California.
The event is memory of Pete Rodriguez III, IV, and V who lost their lives in a tragic truck crash on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011.
There will be a horseshoe tournament, corn hole tournament, food, memorabilia, games, vendors, raffle, music, and much more.
Horseshoe tournament player register starts at 9:00am PT and the horseshoe tournament starts at 10:00am PT.
Horseshoe player cost is $20.00 per player or $40.00 per team.
Corn hole tournament player is $10 per player and $20 per team.
The event raises money to help our community youth in the memory of Pete Rodriguez III, IV, and V.
Posted on their Facebook page, the 3 Pete’s Memorial Youth Fund’s mission is to raise funds for the purpose of donating to deserving individuals and entities that promote education, youth development, and moral growth in our community.
Deserving recipients could include but not limited to: youth programs and sports, community events, school functions and scholarships.
All programs are seen to be deserving that promote education and positive growth for the youth and positive growth for the community.
The 3 Pete’s Memorial Youth Fund’s vision, as a foundation, is to inspire a passion for learning and self-growth, giving the youth of our community the ability to make their dreams reality and touch the lives of many as the 3 Pete’s have.
