According to a spokesperson, 94 year old Nancy Reagan will be buried next to her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
Nancy Reagan was born on Wednesday, July 6th, 1921 in New York City, New York and was raised in Chicago.
Nancy Reagan started her career as an actress in stage, movies, and television, which eventually led to her meeting her husband.
Nancy Reagan married her husband former president Ronald Reagan in 1952.
After Ronald Reagan became California governor in 1967, Nancy Reagan began visiting wounded Vietnam veterans and began projects focusing on P.O.W.s and servicemen missing in action.
Nancy Reagan would often visit hospitals and homes for the elderly, as well as schools for physically and emotionally handicapped children.
When her husband became president in 1981, Nancy Reagan then began focusing on fighting alcohol and drug abuse among the youth with her “Just Say No” campaign.
At the end of Ronald Reagan’s presidential career in 1989, Nancy Reagan created the Reagan Foundation as a way to continue to educate people about the dangers of substance abuse.
Nancy Reagan and Ronald Reagan remained together until Ronald Reagan’s death from Alzheimer’s disease in 2004.

A private funeral service for Nancy Reagan will be held at 11:00am PT (1900 GMT) on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, located at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley, California, where Nancy Reagan will be buried next to her husband at the library.
The funeral service for former first lady Nancy Reagan will be private, but will be broadcast live both online and on television.

Prior to the private funeral service, Nancy Reagan will lie in repose for public visitation on Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm PT and Thursday, March 10th, 2016 from 10:00am to 2:00pm PT.
Because there’s no parking allowed at the library, several shuttle buses will be transporting the public to the library from the former Bank of America property parking lot on National Way near State Route 118 in Simi Valley, California.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy Reagan had requested that people make contributions to the library and its foundation at: http://www.reaganlibrary.com.
United States of America President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama said they had the fortune to benefit from Reagan’s “proud example, and her warm and generous advice” on how to prepare for living in the White House.
In their statement, “Our former First Lady redefined the role in her time here. Later, in her long goodbye with President Reagan, she became a voice on behalf of millions of families going through the depleting, aching reality of Alzheimer’s, and took on a new role, as advocate, on behalf of treatments that hold the potential and the promise to improve and save lives.”
Former first lady Barbara Bush released the following statement which reads, “Nancy Reagan was totally devoted to President Reagan, and we take comfort that they will be reunited once more. George and I send our prayers and condolences to her family.”
Former president George W. Bush also released a statement which reads, “Laura and I are saddened by the loss of former First Lady Nancy Reagan. Mrs. Reagan was fiercely loyal to her beloved husband, and that devotion was matched only by her devotion to our country. Laura and I are grateful for the life of Nancy Reagan, and we send our condolences to the entire Reagan family.”
