News Update!!: Needles, CA: Meetings and Updates from the City of Needles.

– More upcoming community meeting discussing proposed water and wastewater rate increases:

There will be more upcoming community meeting to discuss the proposed water and wastewater rate increases in Needles, California.

There will be a community meeting held at 5:00pm PT on Friday, February 19th, 2016 inside the Needles City Council Chambers located on the 1700 block of J Street near the Needles Recreation Center and Bailey Avenue in Needles, California.

Additional community meetings will be held at 5:00pm PT on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016, at 5:00pm PT on Thursday, February 25th, 2016, and at 10:00am PT on Saturday, February 20th, 2016 all being held also inside the Needles City Council Chambers.

The proposed water and wastewater rate increases set to increase by Sunday, May 1st, 2016.

The community meeting is required by law to protect the tax payers for the Proposition 218 process.

– Needles City Council Member Shawn Gudmundson spoke about an upcoming community clean up event. On Saturday, February 20th, 2016, volunteers are wanted to help clean up Jack Smith Memorial Park located at 1001 River Road in Needles, California . The Needles Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to help us prepare for the Needles 8th Annual Hot Boat and Custom Car Show. The clean up will start at 9:00am PT and volunteers are being asked to bring gloves and they will provide bags and water.
