Breaking News!!: Needles, CA: FedEx semi truck fire reported on Interstate 40.
There is reports of a FedEx semi truck fire along westbound Interstate 40, between Highway 95 and Water Road, west of Needles, California.
The call came in at around 6:11am PT on Sunday, January 17th, 2016.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, the FedEx semi truck is fully engulfed on fire on the right shoulder.
Reports over the police scanner calling on San Bernardino County Fire Department and a water tender from Mohave Valley Fire Department has also been called.
The water tender from Mohave Valley Fire Department went by ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary A. Lopez with lights and sirens heading westbound on Needles Highway passing Q Street at around 6:37am PT on Sunday, January 17th, 2016.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, at least 2 lanes on westbound Interstate 40 is blocked.
Please use caution if driving into this area of the FedEx semi truck.
